JCP

So I made a trip to J. C. Penny's after my  cousin posted a picture to Instagram of Martha Stewarts new line there.

When I walked in I was shocked...when did JCP get so cute?  I liked almost everything I saw.  I was with my sister Chloe when I went and I think I was embarrassing to her because I kept ewing and awing over everything and could not get over how cute it all was.

This is the Jonathan Adler display...cute I know.

I want all this plastic dishware for summer!  The tumblers are my favorite.

Martha has the cutest paper goods section.

She also has everything you would need for a candy bar.
She also has rugs, curtains, and lighting from what I can tell on the JCP website.  I did not make it that far in the store.

There was also this demonstration area where I guess the give demonstrations/classes...maybe Martha will show up one day!  All this to say that if you have not been to JCP in awhile you will be pleasantly surprised!

Barn Sale

I went to the Sweet Ila Mae's Barn Sale with my mom a few weekends ago.

It truly was out in the middle of nowhere and we got lost a few times.  We are the absolute worst with directions!

When we finally arrived the vendors were putting last minute touches on their booths.  There were about 35 vendors inside and outside the pole barn.

This pillow would be cute in the master bedroom with your wedding date on it.

I loved the paint job on this dresser.

Such sweet tea towels.

The Painted House was my favorite booth...no question about it!  These girls has the cutest stuff.  I wanted to buy everything.  I can't wait to make a trip to the shop in Cookville,TN!

I thought these wreaths cute...to bad I have two front doors and have to have two of everything...

Last but not least Van Loos Traveling Boutique was at the show.  Don't you love her pink van!

We can't wait until the Fall show.  We may even be vendors...!

High Point Farms

I am helping decorate Madeline's wedding at High Point Farms next weekend and could not be more excited!  Last week I went with the gals to tour the barn and get a feel for things.

The barn is very rustic but elegant at the same time.  The owners are very easy going and allow their brides to have complete control of the decor with almost no restrictions, they even have a prop closet you can pull things from!

Here are a few pics of the barn I snapped while we did our walk through.

Lingerie Shower

I had the privilege of co-hosting a lingerie show for my best friends sister Madeline.  She is getting married in a week!

I debated on whether or not to break up the table and use the kitchen and the dinning room.  But decided it would better if everyone was all together.  So I ended up making one large table which worked out well.  I dream of the day when I can have one large table and don't have to " rig up" something.

Homemade stir sticks!  These turned our pretty cute and each girl wrote their initials on the heart so they could keep up with their glass throughout the night.

The food was served buffet style.

The desserts were to die for.  The cupcakes were made from angel food cake with a light whipped icing.  I love when something is super cute and tastes great.  The mini cheese cakes were fabulous.  The blueberry was my fave!

I tried to use what I already had around the house to decorate with.  I dug out my Christmas tinsel and silver beads, and mixed them in here and there.  I also made tissue paper flowers for the first time. I loved them! They were so easy to make and not to mention inexpensive!

We had each of the girls decorate silly panties for Madie.  This was an easy and hilarious activity!

Such a fun group of girls!

The bride and her sister!

As the girls left they each got a nail polish.

Congrats Madie and Andrew!
